A native Minnesotan, Paul Nolting began serving Immanuel as Associate Pastor in June, 1996 and assumed the role of Head Pastor in July, 1997. Paul married his wife, Sara, in 1980 and together they have four children. Paul is a graduate of Immanuel Lutheran Seminary in Eau Claire, WI. He has Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Paul has served in the public ministry since 1980-first as a pastor in South Dakota, then as a professor at Immanuel Lutheran College in Eau Claire, WI, and now as pastor here in Mankato.

Pastor Eichstadt has served Immanuel as Associate Pastor since January 1998. He began his public ministry as the CLC Missionary-at-Large in 1993, after graduating from Immanuel Lutheran Seminary, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. As CLC Missionary-at-Large he served Ascension, DuPont, Washington (7/1993-6/1995); Messiah, Orange Park, Florida (7/1995-5/1996) and CLC Northport, North Port, Florida (5/1996-12/1997). During his seminary study he served a vicarship at Grand Island, Nebraska doing exploratory mission work. Wayne graduated from Immanuel High School, Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1986 and Immanuel Lutheran College, Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1990. He was married in 2003.
Karl Olmanson

Karl was called to teach at Immanuel in 1997, he was appointed Principal in the fall of 2000. He has previously taught grades 1-8 at Our Savior's Lutheran School, Jamestown, ND (1993-1997), grades 5-8 at Gethsemane Lutheran School of Spokane Valley, WA (1985-1993), and at St. Luke's Lutheran School of Lemmon, SD (1979-1984 grades 5-8) and (1984-1985 grades 1-8). He was the principal at each school, starting in 1980.
Karl attended our Immanuel Lutheran School graduating from High School in 1976. He then went on to attend Immanuel Lutheran College in Eau Claire, WI earning an Associate of Arts degree. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Mankato State University (now Minnesota State University) in 1985, majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Physical Education.

Kathleen Olmanson
Teacher (Kindergarten)
Kathleen Olmanson has been teaching Kindergarten at Immanuel since 1990, fourteen years of which have been 1/2 days and the last 2 years full days. She also taught grades 1&2 at Immanuel for 2 years.
She graduated from Immanuel Lutheran College's 3 year teacher program in 1971.
She is married to Omar Olmanson and raised a family of 7 in Mankato.
Michael Wheaton
Teacher (Grades 1&2)
Michael Wheaton was called to teach Grades 1 & 2 at Immanuel in 1997. Prior to this, Michael taught in the Mankato and Owatonna Public School Systems. He also was the assistant coach for the Owatonna H.S. Varsity Girl’s Gymnastics team from 1995-97.
Michael has been a lifelong member of Immanuel - Mankato, and is an alumnus of the Elementary and High School Programs. He graduated from Immanuel High School in 1990. Michael received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Minor in Mathematics from Mankato State University in 1995.
Michael has been very active with our High School Drama Club. He was a Director from 1999-2003. Since then he has become the Producer (2003-present).
Lane Fischer
Teacher (Grades 3&4, Music 7&8, H.S. Music Appreciation); Director (H.S. Choir)
Lane Fischer’s primary teaching responsibilities include serving as third and fourth grade teacher, 7th and 8th grade music teacher, high school music appreciation teacher, and ILHS Choir director. Lane also directs the handbell choirs, coordinates the Christmas Eve program, and produces the Weekly Update, Immanuel’s newsletter for students, parents, and friends of the school.
Lane is an alumnus of Immanuel Lutheran High School - Mankato. Lane received his Bachelor of Science in elementary education degree from Immanuel Lutheran College in Eau Claire. He also has a Bachelor of Science in elementary education degree from Mankato State University, and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction degree from Mankato State University.
Lane has worked for Fine Impressions in North Mankato. He currently serves the companies of Taylor Corporation at Taylor Development.
Karla Olmanson
Teacher (5&6, Music K-6)
Mrs. Olmanson was called to Immanuel in 1985 to teach music in the grade school. In 1987, she was called to expand her service at Immanuel by teaching grades 5&6 half days.
Karla graduated from Immanuel Lutheran High School, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in 1966. She received a 3-year teaching degree from Immanuel Lutheran College in 1969. She taught grade 1-8 at Our Redeemer’s of Red Wing, Minnesota from 1969-1972.
She received a Bachelors of Science degree from Mankato State University in 1994 and a Bachelors of Science degree from Immanuel Lutheran College also in 1994.
Donna Klammer
Teacher (Grades 5&6)
Mrs. Klammer was called to share a teaching position with Karla Olmanson in grades 5&6 in January 1988. She taught elementary physical education at Immanuel from 1984-2002, and taught Kindergarten from November 1987-Janaury 1988. She also taught High School girl's physical education as a volunteer at the “prairie” school in the late 70’s.
Donna graduated found Round Lake High School in 1965. She graduated from Mankato State University in March 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education/Physical Education.

Dan was born and raised in Eau Claire, WI. After attending Messiah Lutheran Grade School and Immanuel Lutheran High School, Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. He holds degrees in Broadfield Social Studies, History, and Coaching.
Before accepting the call to teach here at Immanuel, Dan taught social studies at Prentice High School (WI) from 1996 to 2000. There, he also served as the head baseball coach and coordinated the School-to-Work Program.

Amanda Harris has been teaching Elementary PE at Immanuel since 2002.
Amanda graduated from our Immanuel Lutheran High School in 1991. She married fellow ILHS alumnus Tony Harris in 1992.
She has lived in Omaha, Nebraska; Feltwell, England UK; and Colorado Springs, Colorado before moving back to Mankato in 1998.
